Barrett's heart finally gave out on her... she passed away early this afternoon. She came up to me and nosed my arm that she wanted to go outside to go to the bathroom. She never made it back in... collapsing just outside the door.We've had a lot of dogs growning up... but I never had one with as much personality and life as Barrett. I'm really going to miss her. She was definitely one of a kind.

Barrett was a good dog. She sure loved to have races in the pool and never let anyone beat her.
Remember when she snapped at dad because he was beating her swimming across the pool?...
All day Benjamin has been saying 'Poor, Poor Bear Bear' in this sad tone. I told him we don't have to be sad for Barrett because she doesn't have any pain anymore but we are sad because we miss her. Praying for you guys.
I think she clawed Dad's back pretty good too. :)
I am so sorry! We will be thinking about you guys. We loved playing with Barrett and she will be missed.
